At the start of the new year, we’d like to share a brief overview of TDI Custom Packaging solutions: who we are, what we do, and how we support your business.

TDI specializes in the extrusion, converting, and printing of polyethylene film, bags, and tubing, delivering high-quality, custom products designed to meet your specific needs.

Sheeting:

Sheeting is the most basic form of poly film, offering flexible options for resin material, gauge, color, print, and size.

Apart from basic sheeting, there are other formats available. Centerfold, for instance, is folded over, often in half, while J-sheeting is folded in a J-shape.

Poly Bags:

At TDI, we manufacture poly bags in a wide range of variations. Some designs are straightforward, while others require a more complex production process.

Examples include products such as flat bags, gusseted bags, bottom or side-sealed bags, handle bags, and pocket bags and many more.

Lay-flat Tubing:

Poly tubing ships and stores flat, then expands into long, flexible tubing with two open ends when filled.

You find lay flat tubing in various applications. For instance, it’s used as a cost-effective solution to package goods with irregular or uneven shapes. Also, it can transfer air, gases, or liquids over short distances.

TDI is an expert in packaging customization, delivering the quality and service that build long-term customer relationships. Below is an overview of the customization options we offer:

Resin Materials

We offer a range of polymers, including LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, and blends, to achieve the gauge and characteristics you’re looking for.

In addition, the resin we extrude is FDA-certified, making it suitable for food-contact applications.

Special Features and Options

By adding certain additives you can reach the desired result for your packaging product. For instance, we can add EVA, linear low, anti-stat and/or UVI.

You may also select the color of your poly film product, choosing from standard colors or a custom-matched tint.
